Default Birchwood casey Customer Service

Awhile back I bought some Birchwood Casey Bore Scrubber in the aerosol can. The first time I used it towards the end of the cleaning process the can stopped working, like it ran out of propellant. The can itself was still full, I just couldn't get anything out of it. This was Tuesday. Wednesday morning I emailed their customer service department and let them know the problem I was having. I recieved an email back saying they would send out a new can. Yesterday I got a package from them and rather than just send a can of the Bore Scrubber, they sent their 3 can value pack that has the Bore Scrubber, Gun Cleaner and Barricade.
I am very impressed with their service and sent them an email letting them know. This is the best and fastest service I've received in quite awhile.

Every company could create "customers for life" with that kind of customer service. Knight always treated me great like that. Thanks for the info as I'm a Shealth fan for all my gun exteriors.

Not only great customer service, but it is a great product. One of my favorite gun cleaning products there.

Thats great to hear! The 3 in 1 package is a good deal to get. I love the bore scrubber and especially the gun scrubber for cleaning out new rifles.

Sorry to be negative, but Bore Scrubber didn't work that well for me, and it doesn't remove copper fouling.

Butch's Bore Shine works much better. If you can handle the smell.

I like BC's products. And its nice to let people know when they do a good job. Most of the time all a company's CS gets is complaints.

Most of the reason I even tried the Bore Scrubber was for the smell. I usually end up cleaning in the living room and the wife never seemed to appreciate that very much. She doesn't like the smell of Bore Scrubber but can at least tolerate it. So that's what I'll use for now. When I need to use something strong I take it outside.

I had an ex that used to scream bloody murder when I would clean guns with Hoppes #9 solvent. You'd of thought I'd killed someone, the way she'd go on and on about the smell in the house. So I made me a man cave. We were living in the city, and had a huge old Victorian home at the time that had those three foot thick field stone walls in the basement. So I took over the basement and made my man cave. Funny part was, when I was in my man cave, cleaning rifles with Hoppes #9, she'd come down to see what I was up to, and never mention the smell.

The one gun cleaning product that I find the smell offensive is BALLISTOL SPORTSMAN'SOIL. I do not know what it is about that smell but it is a real turn off for me. Birchwood Casey is a good smelling product, Hoppes I grew up with and is like a cologne to me. Which ones do you hate the smell of?

Have to agree with this. B/C does smell great. I also love the smell of Hoppes lingering in the garage after a cleaning session.

Got a question for you guys. Use to be able to find the gun scrubber that was safe for synthic stocks etc. Now I just can find plain old gun scrubber. Did they get rid of it?
