Default Disc Elite / Disc Extreme Stocks

Fellas,

Can anyone tell me if the above stocks are interchangeable?

For example, can I take a 45 cal Elite stock and place a 50 cal Extreme barrel & action on this stock?

Thanks in advance,

An Extreme will always drop in a Elite stock... but often an Elite will not drop into an Extreme stock. There are exceptions to this rule. If the Extreme stock that you have is one of the very late Extreme stocks them the stock is interchangeable between the elit and the Extreme.

I hope that is clearer than mud...

Thanks Mike,

This is good news. I bought a laminate Extreme and thought I'd use the comp stock from my Elite for kicking around at the range or hunting.

On the other hand, I didn't buy it to sit in a drawer. It's nice to have the option.

JOSMUND, It might be wise if switching from one stock to the other that the point of impack on the TARGET stays the same. Any changes in where the barreled action sets into the stock could change the impact on your Target. Just my thoughts.
