Default just bought my dream gun!

I just checked and found out I had the high bid at Gunbroker on the gun I'd always wanted, a brand new in the box .54 Thompson Center Black Mountain Mag with a walnut stock. I'd been tempted by the .50 cals that have been on there with the comp. stock but I had decided to hold out for a .54 even if it had a comp stock so when this gun came up with wood stock and brand new in box I just couldn't pass it up. Now all I'll need is draw another muzzle elk tag so I can use this gun. Still waiting for NM draw results so maybe with a lot of luck maybe this year.

Amen to that. There are some TC Cougars for sell, 45 flint hawken, lot of Renegades. If I was a rich man I would have a field day. But i'm not. I just knew that I would regret it if I didn't pick my 54 flint Renegade up.

Hey Josmund, I live in hartford about 12 miles west of Sioux Falls. I too was raised in Sioux Falls, Graduated from Lincoln High in 82. And yea there are a lot of sidelock rifles for sale on Auction Arms and Gunbroker which seemed to work out for a couple of us anyway.
