Sounds like it's spot on to me.some may argue with the bullet findings, but considering they grouped them all together and it makes perfect sense. Ray

Not sure how they calculated those figures but I can't agree with a couple of therm. For instance they say TC sells 1/3 of all MZ's. There is no way in the world that is true. The inexpensive MZ's far outsell TC. Heck I sold them for years. I sold 10 or more cheapies for every TC I sold. No way that number is possible. No way.

The other listings are conceivable, so I am not sure about them. But no way on the TC MZ's. The Pyrodex number suprises me, but I can believe it. WalMart does handle Pyrodex. But you don't see TC's at Wally World. Tom.

Wal marts have nothing to do with overall sales of Muzzleloaders. i live in California where wal marts cannot sell any firearms at all. and the overwhelming number of people in this state that shoot muzzleloaders shoot T/C's, which are bought at places like Cabelas and other online super stores. CVA's prices have been on the rise, which IMHO makes the findings even more accurate. Ray

Are those USA only sales?

In some Euro countries T/C is one of the few options for an inline due to strict CIP regulations. Some brands are not even allowed to be sold in counties such as Italy, Germany and even Spain without proper proof testing. T/C already has a retail network in many of those countries with strict regulations.

I would not even try to know anything about Commi-Fornia. Flat don't care about California. I know that in main street USA that Wally World has replaced a vast majority of small sporting goods shops. I know this first hand-I sold to those customers.

And I promise you Wally World is one of, if not the largest firearms retailers around when you add up all their stores. And last year they made a full commitment to get all their stores back into the shooting sports.

I have been to many from WV to KY and other states. I have yet to see a TC rifle there. But I guarantee you will see a half dozen or more CVA's and other less expensive MZ's.

This forum does not in any way represent the average Joe out there that just wants to spent $100 or so and hunt a few extra days.

And the price point that most TC's carry?? No way they represent 1/3 of the enitre market. No way.

The company I worked for was the largest distribultor of TC firearms in the world. And I guarantee you TC did not represent 10% of my entire MZ rifle sales. Let alone 1/3. Tom.

i seldom see a hunter using a TC muzzleloader. The last TC ML i saw at Wal-Mart was about 8 years ago. It was a Black Diamond.

I can agree with most that execpt for the Remington part. I know alot of shooters and the Remingtons on few. Now if it said shotguns then yes I would agree with Remington. But as for a rifle there is no way. The scope part I can see that. I would have guess them or Nikon. The only reason Pyro is number one is a avaliblity. Bullets I can see Hornady. Especially with the larger calibers. Muzzleloader firarms I would have guessed Traditions or CVA. But out of all mine I have 3 TC and 2 Lyman. So TC wins.
