Default New Knight Bighorn

Got my new Bighorn in the other day so I headed to the range today for some conical shooting... this is a 100 yard three shot group with 75 grains of Pyrodex RS, a 460 grain No Excuses conical, and a Win. 209 in the Red FPJ. The group measured 1.25". The gun is very nice and as Grouse said, Knight's attention to detail is sopt-on.

Darn nice flint head. That load ought to do about anything that needs doing. Good shooting.

Yep, did swab... forgot to mention it was hot as dog crap out today... so this load may even shoot a little tighter on a nice cool day.

flint head: Nice looking gun... especially like the stock pattern ! I've never shot conicals out of my Knight's. But I've heard and now see they are very capable.

I shot the the NE 460's and with only 70 grs of 777 out of my White.... a deadly combo and easy on the shoulder.

Good luck with it !

very nice looking group and a beautiful rifle. That load should have a lot of stopping power.

Very nice shooting. my $150.00 Knight wolverine with 75 gr pyrodex, shoots the NE conicals with about the same accuracy. those GM barrels are tack drivers with saboted or conical bullets. Ray
