Default We dont need no stinking spotting scope

When you top off you gun with something like this

4x16x44 on my converted Knight DISC 45

The rings are a bit high but i have some better ones i might use after my Knight 45 shootout. I used this same cheap Centerpoint scope on my old Accura 45 and it took a hell of a pounding for a $69 scope. The current owner is still using it too without any issues other than the occasional dead battery.

I bought 3 sets of the Warnes steel bases in silver and the Original 45 got the first set. I really like these bases just because they work well with a lot of rings and really well with several quality QR rings. I do wish one base was extended though for better ring placement.

Nothing really great about the scope other than it makes it really easy to see your groups and its a little more fun shooting targets at 200 yards. I didnt plan on shooting this weekend because of the forecast but its beautiful outside now

Thats a hell of a scope. I think out of all my scopes my max mag is 12. And thats on my 17 hmr. Pretty soon you'll be dressed in a gillie suit and snipin the deer. Wonder if you could put a supressor on a muzzleloader?

DATS ALOTTA SCOPE PAW-PAW!

And I took a 3x9 off of my Omega X7 and replaced it with a 4x because I thought the 3x9 was too bulky.

I have a Simmons 4x16 on my .22 Hornet and can see Tweety Bird's eyeball at 150 yards. It is nice to be able to see those .22 caliber holes on a target way out there.

A supressor on a ML..! I know you're only kidding 50calty, but even if you could you would also have to put a vacuum on to suck up the smoke....

Ive got a few 2x7s and a new 3x9x40 Omega which will probably end up on it. I prefer the 2x7s for hunting but i got a great deal on the Omega. Ive got a few bases and rings to swap out but wanted to give this one a try just for fun.
