Default Ever forget you had a gun?

I was going through the storage closet last night trying to put off helping with spring cleaning, and in the back corner was something in a gun case. Hmmm. I don't remember that. Opened it up and there was muzzleloader inside. Several years ago someone had given me a used muzzlelader they didn't want anymore. At the time I had no interest in them so I never really messed around with it and I guess I kind of forgot about it.
I doubt it's anything real special. It's a Traditions, barrel says Fox River Scout. It's a 1 in 48 twist barrel so it should work with a variety of balls/conicals. It will be something fun to play with. It's in surprisingly good shape.

Yes, I have discovered rifles I purchased and then never even shot. The worst case was I was bidding on a T/C Hawkins and really wanted it because I did not have that model. Then I was looking at some of the traditional rifles and there was a like new Hawkins that I had purchased and then forgot about. Good thing I did not win that auction, Plus I have a couple of carbines from CVA that I have maybe put thirty rounds through. I just never shoot them. I should sell them but they seem happy on the gun rack

MY guns are all happy in the gun rack, they get happier when fondled once in a while.

I once left a Kimber 1911 in a pickup truck that I traded in once. I received a call from the dealer the next day and he asked me if I was missing something?? I told him no. Then he told me what I did. Tom.
