Default Lets try this again....

Just made a deal for a like new 1851 navy in .36cal with steel frame. My last 3 .44cal brass frames were crap, so hopefully the steel frame holds up better and doesnt come apart in my hand this time around

Have plenty of pioneer 3f so i figure 10 grains ought to be good enough for range fun.

Kind of light. Try 15 gr. It will still be light recoil.

Steel frame is the way to go. I've heard nothing but bad things about brass. You shouldn't have any problems

The .36 is like shooting a .22 almost. Heck, in my .44 I shoot 30 regularly and it just jumps. It's a pleasure to shoot.

Steel is the only way to go. There's a reason brass wasn't the first option for builds. But when you run out of steel, you use what you have...
