Default why did I got to the gunshop today

no, nothing followed me home from the gunshop. but the thought was in my head.
shouldered:
CVA wolf (new breechplug)
two 30/30's
one marlin
one Winchester (ranger model) (scoped for $350)
the marlin had an smoother action.
2 12 ga
both where mossberg.

gone and done it, no one to blame but my self,

came home and fired up the turkey fryer and fired up some chicken and home made fries, just what jess was wanting. lol

Corey, The older Marlin 336 is a fantastic rifle. The one I have shoots 1" groups at 100 yards with a 150 gr sierra. My son shot a deer with it in 2010. I called him a cowboy action sniper. They are in my opinion better than the winchester ranger. I went for period correct with this rifle for about the mid 1950's when it was made. The scope is mid 1950 weaver 3x with weaver mounts. Ron

ron, I have to admit, the Marlin had the smoother action. I would most likely want an scope. it was not scoped. I am starting to do the math and see which I go.
