The worst part is... there are a lot of people that believe that statement to be true.

I was talking once to a very anti hunting woman. She told me that killing wild animals was wrong. So I asked her what difference there was between me shooting a deer or a butcher killing a steer. She told me that the steers and hogs are humanely put down at butcher centers. I just had to laugh. I told her she had no idea what went on at such places and that she'd seen too many Disney movies as a child. She got mad and huffed off.

There's no talking to a tree hugger. They think they're saving the world.

You are so right there. my father worked for Farmer john for 33 years and when my brother and i were little, my father took us on a tour of the plant. dead hogs coming in on the rail cars, treated very poorly to say the least and cattle fair no better. at least a wild animal has a chance.. Ray

I'll bet the person who wrote that doesn't know where eggs or milk come from either.
Liberal Arts Colleges all over America turn these people out by the thousands every year.

I believe some of you are missing the sarcasm from whoever wrote that ad.

He's probably a hunter.

Let them hug the trees! I'm out there for the critters, not the trees! (although sassafras tea is sounding pretty good now)
