Default Laurel Mountain Browning

Does anyone have any advise on using the above solution?

I have a Navy / Pietta 12g sxs where the Brown could be better. Other than some fading and blotching of he Brown( looks like a poor cold brown job ), the gun is in mint condition.

I've read the instructions, Could a first time user expect good results?

I also would like a manual if anyone knows where to find one. Nothing on the Navy pr Pietta website that I could find.

Thanks in advance,

It worked well for me. I clean the gun to bare metal and wash it with alcohol to prepare it. I did mine at about 200 degrees if you do that be very careful do not heat any tempered parts and don't get burned.

Be real careful about heating a double. Those barrels and the top rib are soldered together.

lauren mtn browning solution doesnt require heat, it works with humidity to cause a slow rust thats even. Ive done 4 or 5 barrels with it and its some good stuff.

Thanks fellas,

I've read the directions a few times and have a bottle on order. I guess I just wanted to receive some feedback before I stripped a Ok barrel down and intentionally rusted it. I'm writing for confidence check.

The directionas always seem to look easier than the actual job. I was planning on doing the work in a bathroom where I could run some steam from a shower.
