Default 5 shot Group

Forgot who asked for it, but on Saturday i went to the NRA Whittington Center with my brother in law. I didn't have the MOST accurate Powerbelts with me but i was pretty darned happy with this group!

The shot that opened it up was shot #3 and i blame that on getting rushed and not allowing it to cool down long enough. Hey, its still an 1 1/8" 5 shot group @ 100 yards. The first 4 shots measure 7/8" center to center.

100gr BH209, CCI 209M Primers, 295gr Hollow Point Powerbelts.

Darn nice group Devil. Don't those one-out-of-five-strays really tick you off. I seem to get them a lot. I wish there was a sign over the bench that would flash either "Shooter Error" or "Not Shooter Error" when a shot strays like that.

Yeah they suck but hell, we're human. Accidents happen.

I just need to pack a clock with me and give it 3-4 minutes of actual cool down time rather than my, close my eyes and lay my head across my arms deal that i have been doing LOL.

Too bad they don't perform better in the animal.

I don't trust them enough to hunt with them.

Oh they perform excellent when i fire up my coleman stove and make the inserts for them LOL.

I most likely will hunt with the 250gr aerolite however. Then again who knows, i always change either loads or guns by hunting season LOL.

I agree. They looked good with your inserts, but you won't make me any.

You won't answer my PM's either.

LOL im sorry, i will get to your pm here very shortly.

I'll make you some, i just dont want to send out crappy lookin inserts so i am updating my mold. Really wish i could find a mold company that could duplicate the Aerotip but put the threaded shaft on it like i do. That'd save me so much time.

I wonder how the Aerotip will work with your inserts? That's got a bigger cavity huh?
