Chet, I have been researching moulds as well. A lot of the guys buy their custom moulds from Mountain Moulds. Accurate Moulds is another place I have heard good things about. Again, I do not have first hand experience it is just what I have read.
This one here I was thinking of getting for my .451:

I hope this helps.

Yep Mountain Molds will make nearly anything you want. LBT will make a few too.

Dixie has a 475gr Whitworth

I need to move to idaho. You got some great knife makers, parker and the hydracons, now mountain moulds. All the stuff i seem to need is made in idaho. Throw in the bear hunting and I really get jealous. My dream is to hunt bear some day with my muzzleloader.

Oh boy! 53 miles from here in Elk River - they harvest some really fine Black Bear. Getting one with a ML should not be a problem.

Even here on the Palouse you end up kicking them off the forest roads as you driving and kicking them around during hunting season. They are not as abundant on the Palouse as they use to be but they are still here.... which reminds me of one of my more scary hunting trips.... Early seaon elk hunting in thick timber just above some farm fields... I was moving along on a game trail just the other side of the wheat field following a set of very fresh elk track. I heard the stretch and pop of something hitting the barb wire fence then a bunch of noise in the brush running right at me.... then all of a sudden this big black animal was on top of me... I had no time to do anything.... thank gosh it was a big and I mean big black lab from the farm - he was friendly as heck... but it scared the crap out of me....

Parker Brothers.... 11 miles east in Troy, Idaho - actually one of the brothers lives a few streets over here in Moscow.

Buck Knives is 90 mile north... they do make pretty nice knives...

you have know idea how close to the pants problem it really was...

I just wish you all could have heard the fence the brush and the black blurry blur that was crashing right at me.... I did have time to turn my head and open my mouth - but I did not have time to yell.... but I did use some profanity on that poor dog for awhile - then we became good friends.... gotta love labs they like people....

His collar said his name was BEAR - so some farmer had a nasty sense of humor....
