You might want to narrow that down a bit! What are you looking for, cap' n' ball, flintlock, single shot perc, etc.? What do you intend to do with the pistol: hunt, plink, compete?

There are a lot of options out there.

Traditions had a sale on .50 caliber horse pistols a while back. Almost bought one. But talked myself out of it. I have been so good about not buying more guns... So if it is a horse pistol or I mean an old traditional style ... check traditions. If you want a cap and ball then check Cabela's. They sell Pietta cap and ball (I have one) and they are a good shooting revolver for the money.

I have a never fired Lyman Plains 54 I'll sell for about half of retail.

Also, check out the Uberti I have listed in the classified. I got both of these in a package deal where I was really after the Pietta Side by Side.

Sorry but were you asking where is a good place to buy a BP pistol or what is a good BP pistol to buy?

If you are wanting pistol suggestions, check out the Ruger Old Army. They were recently discontinued but there are still plenty of them around. The Old Army is a rock solid cap' n' ball revolver.
