I put a stainless steel barrel on it.
NOT!
I couldn't get the blue to come out the way I wanted it to look with the Birchwood Casey Gun Blue. So I soaked it in Evapo Rust, took all the blue off, and left it in the white.

Looks good,but you need to at least coat it with one of the new high tech protective coatings to prevent rust. Ray
