That had a light orange primer jacket so it had to be an original Knight Disc rifle that fired. The other looked like a CVA but I was not sure. That was an interesting test for a bunch of drunk dudes..

According to Knight they did submerge the FPJ systems and then fired them. They may be dirty but they seem to work.

DO NOT try his advice, even in a Savage that is an insane load. He locked the thread a while back because we told him it wasnt safe. He thinks because it "appears" to be a bolt action its safe.

Is that person for real? Shooting smokeless powder in a "bolt" muzzleloader? Did he ever really look at the "bolt" in that rifle? And then he missed on top of all that. That video should be removed from You Tube. Someone could get hurt. Did you notice 6 people liked that video. Does that mean he convinced 6 people to try that load in their muzzleloader, or did they just enjoy waiting for the rifle to blow up in his face?

The really messed up part is that he cant spell the company name or powder correctly.

That powder was used in the early Savage days in much lighter amounts but its so fine it got past vent liners easy and eroded them super fast. In a sub gun with a eroded flash hole that could be an even bigger danger. That load would make a hell of a lot of psi. Way over current Savage data.

He didnt actually shoot smokeless though. It was Pyro. Its messed up that he is telling people to try it and claiming he has though.

I have Knight Revolution and it came with DVD that told how to clean. It also had a video of a guy walking out into a pond taking himself and the gun completely under water. He came back out and pointed the barrel down to drain the water. He then turned and fired it across the pond.

The plastic primer jacket and the sabot form a water tight seal. I wouldn't do that on purpose though, but good to know this gun will go bang even in bad weather.

Well one winter day during muzzleloader deer season (December) I was in my marsh stalking down a nice track. I suddenly heard the ground CRACK under me and realized I was further south then I thought and this nice clear path I was following was my creek. Well needless to say, I went through, and fell over onto my side. And my rifle and I went under the water. It was a .54 caliber T/C Renegade loaded with black powder and a patched ball. There was a RWS 1075 primer on the nipple.

After I looked around to make sure no one saw my wonderful flop, I stood up and poured the water out of the barrel and headed to the house for dry clothes.

At my range, I figured ... what the heck. C0cked the Renegade aimed at my steel trap and BOOM!! that thing went off just fine. I was kind of impressed with the rifle. Not my swimming lesson but how water proof that rifle actually was.
