Lube em good or you will be scraping lead also use a felt under pad. I lube mine with liquid alox and roll them in motor mica

Now that's interesting Johnmorris. I've used mica to lube case necks for reloading, but never heard of it being used as a supplemental bullet lubricant. Does it roll on evenly? Have you found it improves accuracy or increases velocity? How are the bullets to handle with the mica on them? I suspect it would stick to a bullet even without the alox layer. Have you tried it that way.

No just with lube, I have used it for years in rifle and Muzzy bullets. The bullets are not greasy and I find leading is really reduced. Motor mica also stands the temps involved. I also tried Moly paste but that is more expensive Moly lube also works on cast rifle bullets. Moly powder will also stick to bare lead and I have used that. It really does not affect accuracy
