Default Now thats a deal!

Got a yard of mattress ticking " thats what the store calls it" blue-white patch material, A yard for only $6! I can make a ton of patches from it and still smile the next time i go buy more.

Loaded up the GPR for some play tomorrow but noticed the round balls i made with the tc mold that came with the rifle, went down very easily, scary easy so i am not so sure about that. We'll find out in the morning though

Edit:

Uh oh, that aint good! Measured them with my calipers and they are .525 to .527

Store boughts are .530 and my lee mold throws a .530 round ball as well.

Guess i figured out why they loaded so easy LOL

All is not lost, use those balls for a quick shot after the .530s get too hard to load down a fouled bore...You could also try with .020 patching or use two .010 patches...

I go from the .018 ticking to .015 after 2 shots from my .54...
