Default It's here!

I just went to take the trash out and when I opened the door a little surprize was sitting on the porch. My .50 cal., 21", 1:28" twist Green Mountain barrel for my $30.00 .54 cal. Thompson Center Renegade was there. Green mountain said the order wouldn't even be processed untill the 27th. And it wasn't shipped overnight, just regular shipping.

You're in for a big disappointment pluckit. I'll bet it doesn't give you any better than one-inch 100 yard groups with 85 grains of Pyrodex or Triple Seven and 250 grain XPTs or Gold Dots in Harvester short black sabots.

My little 21 inch is pathetic when it comes to accuracy. 85 grains of Goex 3f (flintlock) and a 250 grain XTP and it shoots a lousy inch and a half group the first time out at 50 yards. I guess I need to practice more with them open sights.

Wow! No sense in waisting powder and bullets on it then. I guess I'll return it ASAP.
