Default Range Report Disc Elite & Gen II BP

Well, I can't call it never fired Disc Elite anymore. I picked this up last week at a Gun Show. The owner bought a gun shop and was focused on selling assault rifles and had a few MZ's in the lot. I picked this up for $200.

Based on the advise received here I bought a Generation II Lehigh conversion kit. The conversion works like a charm. I went to the range with Harvester 200 grain Scorpions, STS Primers and BH 209.

Here is a shot of the primers. I should note that I could not find any blow back. The breach looked new after 20 or so shots.

A few shot to zero in the scope and had a nice group at 50 yards;

Moved to 100 yards and things spread out a bit. I was shooting off bags with an old Burris scope. Human error is not out of the question on why the group spread out.

Does it make sense to be that tight at 50 and this spread out at 100 without me being a little shaky? By the way, I was shooting at the right target on the final shot.

A big thanks to Sabotloader, GM 54 and all the others who helped me get set up with my new gun.

Other then shot #2 slipping out, at 100 yards (and believe me that happens to most all of us), with a new rifle, and not a lot of range time behind it... I think you did exceptional. Good shooting. That Lehigh conversion sure left the rifle nice and clean.

And that 50 yard group!! WOW!! Nice looking rifle.
