Default I thought I have seen it all until now

An "Eco" slug muzzy bullet.

http://www.eco-slug.com/

Looks neat but appears to be made to keep the sabot on the bullet. It's steel so I would think knockdown power would be off the charts. But how can steel expand at such low velocities?
What do you think? Has anyone tried these?

Cool link

It does not retain its sabot. It has a 2 piece design and the outer part looks like a sabot after impact. The middle pic shows it in a sabot. The part that is pealed back (right pic) is the outer sleeve made of a softer steal and only looks like a sabot.

The cost of Lehighs is close enough and even General Bullets make affordable non lead bullets that work well in MLs at a greater distance. http://shop.generalbullet.com/Handgu...ponents_c3.htm are pretty close to the same price or less.

Very interesting idea for close range work

Strange looking bullet. But for me.. if it was required that no lead be used, there are Barnes, Thor, Lehigh, among the ones I would look to.

Well, at least it strikes me as a very honest and straight forward presentation of the product. You have to appreciate that. You don't see it often.

While I like the idea, I am fear the design leaves something to be desired the BC and SD are not furnished probably for good reason.

I hope that projectiles like that never become law of the land.

I am interested in the ballistics but they do say to limit shots to 100 yards. It is a light bullet but again they only loaded up 100 grains of powder also.
