Default Hard day for me today.

Well, just as the title says, it was a VERY hard day today as I had to give my lil 2 year old girl up for adoption today.

It was a very hard decision for me to make and even more painful when i went through with it. Especially being only 3 days away from Christmas.

I replaced my V1 Accura with a .54cal Lyman Great Plains rifle.

I figured since i will be getting a new V2, i could let the V1 go for trade and get another 54 as they are one of my most favorite calibers, especially for round ball shootin.

Ooooh i know, im cruel with how the story started

The GPR may get a make over during the winter months. I'd like to get rid of the belly on the rear part of the stock.

Very nice rifle. You had me going there. Have you been drinking the same water or Scotch as that Semisane?

LOL nope! Just a cup of starbucks christmas blend coffee with a bit much sugar and topped off with whip cream. Ugh, feel sick to my stomach now but it was a good desert LOL.

It should be a fun rifle. I had the flinter before but wasnt happy with it. I'll have much better use with the percussion. Take the winter and just do a slow restoration and get her where i want it to be.

That would be a tough one. I really like the V1 that my wife has.

You rat! Almost ruined my entire Christmas season with that first sentence.

Sure, I was relieved upon reading the balance. But I still had to pour two fingers of Aberlour 12 year old single malt to settle my nerves. (Thanks)

Anyway, you're going to really like that .54 GP.
