When you set it in the sabot it may not sit completely on the bottom, but when you push it down the bore with the ram rod the sabot will stretch against the walls of the bore and the bullet will be pushed to the bottom of the sabot.

Thank you. I was trying to keep them flat on the bottom and that is why they were so hard to load. When I stopped doing that, they went down the bore much easier. I was surprised how accurate the shockwave 200 was.

As stated they get pushed into the sabot. I have unloaded my rounds before and they are completely in the bottom of the sabot when rammed out through the breech if you do not fire. If I do not shoot at a deer at days end I unload and reload in the morning.

I do reuse the pellets, the trick is to push out the load slowly so you do not crush them on the floor when pushed out. I put a towel on the floor and ram it out. I have reloaded in the morning and shot deer with no issues.
