We got ours shooting like an ape on steroids with 100gr blackhorn209 and a 300gr thor conical. The 245gr powerbelts shoot almost as good too with the same powder charge.

Hey MD, I'm just wondering if you have some kind of alarm that goes off in your house when someone posts a CVA thread? You usually respond within 5 minutes of any one of them. I think you set a new record on this one.

Buckeye Guy,
My Accura likes 100 grains (volume) Pyrodex RS, Winchester primers and the 230 grain T/C Surefire (yup the cheapies)! I have, however, developed one problem with this gun; I'm running out of freezer space!!!

Congratulations. From all the posts I have read, you purchased a fine rifle.
