What to do? Heck man, there's got to be options here. How about getting yourself a cheap folding aluminum lawn chair and hitting it with a can of flat green spray paint. Carry it to the woods and sit comfortably behind some brush overlooking a likely spot. You could even use some light rope to make straps to carry the chair like a backpack.

Works for me. Killed a deer from a lawn chair back in November. Get one with a cup holder.

Or you could stay home, rest your back and put some heat on it so you do not aggravate it more. What if you shoot a deer. Who's going to drag it out? You with a bad back?

Find yourself a Good (Massage Therapist) Not a Chriopracter. They do a Great Job on Backs. I also have a Bad Back, hurt it in School playing Ball. My lower L4 and L5 are messed up pretty bad. But I still learn to live with it and still can do whatever I want.
When it goes out and I cant even stand up straight, I go see one of My Wifes Girlfriends from work who is a Cretified Massage Therapist. I was kind leary at first and thought yea what can she do. But after going to see her and not being able to stand up straight, I waled out of there a New Man, I was Sold.
They use (Pressure) from there Fingers on certain Muscle's and do things a Chriopracter Does'nt. There Not Too Expensive either.
Also you have to do Back Stretching Excersizes, put Cold and Heat on your Back and go from Cold to Hot to Cold to Hot, ect.
If you cant do that, as Mentioned get youself the Chair and call a Friend to help you drag out your Deer. Also get some 400mg or 800mg Ibuprofin, 800mg's of that will have you fixed up in no time.
I once Hurt My Back During Archery Season. I carried around a 5 gallon Pail to sit on and used a Hot Seat as a Cushion,,,,to this Day I still have that Pail and have taken Many Deer from it, it also serves as something to carry stuff in on the way to the Woods.
Good Luck and hope you get Better Fast!
