Default the shopping around begins

have an deal with my wife. she has been working an second job. I help out there off and on. she is going out town for 3 weeks. if I work there and we don't need to money for bills. I can buy what ever i want.

So, I am starting to look around, priced shopping on an new muzzleloader. if I don't decide to work there before christmas. 3 weeks looking at around $500.

major problem, I want an new center fire too.

so the short list
cva wolf
an knight I found still new at an local farm store
cva Kodiak at that same store.
tc impact

blow all the money before scope
accura
maybe the knight (if there out by then)

center fire short list
something in 308
mosin
another sks
ak
hi point carbine
shotgun (mossberg most likely)

pistol
judge
an 40s&w cal
an 1911
C&B

looks like I gotta narrow it down a little more.

LOL, when I started to read this...I thought you were gonna say "I made a deal - she works a 2nd job, and I get a new toy"

Good luck in your quest!

Your list is pretty long....might take more than a few weeks of work!

Too bad you are not local. I could get you a good deal on a like new HiPoint 995TS with a halo type site and a bunch of 9mm ammo.

I narrowed it down a little.
what is out.
all the pistols for now. I have an 9mm all I need for home defense.
the shotgun is out, I really can't decide what ga I want.
all mil surps are out. if I can't find something in 308
The tc impact is out. not an tc hater thing I have not read any range reports on it yet. may have missed it.

still in the the running
an rifle in 308
the knight
Kodiak
wolf

going to keep the new knights in the running until I start pricing them.

if I can find an V1 accura I will keep it in the running. trying to keep it where I can buy an scope too.
