Default Just a heads up

For all of us cheap devils (like me). Natchez was selling them now discontinued model Simmons Pro Diamond 4x32mm shotgun scopes for $25.99 without shipping of course. Since I like those I picked up three of them to keep around the house. Just in case some of you that do not purchase the $200.00+ scope deals, these are great to throw on any rifle for that price, and I personally kind of like them.

I think I will put one on my TK2000. If anything will shake one of them apart that devil will. So far nothing I own has killed one.

I have only five of them. Kinda like `em myself.

I guess I should order another one just in case I happen to pick up another gun (although I can't imagine that happening ).

Thanks for the heads up Cayugad.

EDIT: I just went to the Natchez site http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm...s%20prodiamond and see that the one for $25.99 is the ProSport. The ProDiamond is still only $39.95, plus there's a 25% Simmons rebate in effect for any Simmons product over $25.

I've never tried the ProSport model, but can say the ProDiamond is everything you could want for a muzzleloader out to 150 yards.

Easily three to four inches.

I have one on my light little Omega X7. Never had a problem even shooting hot loaded 300 grain bullets.

You are right. The ones I ordered (that came in today) are the Pro Sport Shotgun model. Oh well, I threw it on a new GMB I had here and a different one on a .54 caliber New Englader. That New Englander would not c0ck the hammer with the Simmons on it. But I had a 1.5-6x40 around here with excellent eye relief, so I threw that on the New Englander. I want to see what a roundball rifle can do at long distances, scoped.

They have listed 4 inches of eye relief. Being a shotgun scope they like to be generous. And it has a 50 yard parallax. Which is nice for the woods I hunt in.

I will have to see if I can shake this apart. But even that $19.99 Simmons Pro Sport 2.5x20mm is still taking every thing my wolverine can throw at it.
