Default Price on used Knight Wolverine 209

I'm looking for a muzzleloader. A buddy of mine has one for sale. He's selling it for someone. It's the Kinght Wolverine 209. Nikon ProStaff scope. It's Camo Synthentic stock with aluminum barrel. I am asking what a fair price on it would be.
Thanks in advance

It all depends on the condition of the gun. The barrel would be stainless steel not aluminum. I would say if everything is next to new and the scope is a 3X9X40 I would say $160 to $180 would be about as much as I would pay. I like to let the seller set the price usually.

That is one of the newer Wolverines with the stainless barrel. They were an expensive rifle when they came out, but I am seeing them at auction sites for some very reasonable prices.

The scope is a $150.00 new so with the scope and rifle, I personally would not go over $200.00 but would like to see it for a little less then that. Also if the barrel is pitted they can keep the rifle. Inspect that rifle. See if the barrel is pitted, if the c0cking mechanism work, the safeties work, and remove the barrel and check the stock.

The problem a lot of sellers see is.. lets say, they paid around $300.00 for the set up, and now that they want to sell it. They want that same amount out of it. Well it does not work that way most of the time. Although some people think it does.
