CVA Lifetime Range rod 10/32? or not?

I bought a CVA Lifetime range rod. It says on the package that it is 10/32 but the hole is too big for what I thought were all my 10/32 attachments? I am fairly sure the attachments ( powerbelt starter kit for example ) are 10/32 so I think the range rod is larger. But why? Am I missing something, literally?

i have that range rod and mine uses the 10/32 thread.

I called CVA today and they put another one in the mail! So far they have great customer service as long as you don't mind waiting a bit on the phone.
