Default Helped a buddy out today-

After listening to me extoll the virtues of ML season a buddy of mine un-shelved his new to him CVA Hawken today. Actually I helped him get geared up earlier in the week, this p.m we shot.
No photos, but w/in 6 shots or so @ 50 yds; .50 PRB &70 grains, only minor elevation adjustment, he was on the money. Not bad for his first time! Plus, he really enjoyed the whole traditional "process" & would like to come over and shoot a few tomorrow.

those are a lot of fun to shoot. Got to be careful once that set trigger is set, ours is a hair trigger.

Well it is good to hear it tuned in so fast for him. Now he will get the bug and you will never see him hunt with modern rifles again. Tell him good luck.
