Default tough first half of the season

early bow was just too hot, avg of 80

early ml, had to work a lot (more money more toys)

rifle. days I got to hunt, just something went wrong, either got sick or lost gear. last day I got to hunt, I hurt my back.

hoping for an better last half. late bow is going now. late ml starts in an week or so.

I have much better luck in the later seasons

It's not over untill the Last Blast of the MLer, it only takes a Second to turn it all around.
Best of Luck!

I went through the same thing the two previous years. Nothing went right and the effort just to get some venison was becoming a bit too much.

Two years ago i got nothing but the site of a tail and arse bouncing away. Last year i didnt score until the last week of ML season. That was a long and tiring wait for one buck.

This year i filled my tags in the area where we built a comfy heated tree "house" in about 25 hours. All that time spent building it and it was only needed for a couple of hours.
