Newbie - now what?

Well I bought my first muzzle loader the other day.

Got a nice deal on a used TC Omega that appears to be shot very little. I have hunted with one before just never owned my own.

Since the dude gave me a great deal at the little mom and pop place I felt obligated to pick up some other stuff from him (maybe his plan worked perfectly) I wouldnt have alot of time to get it sighted in and get a load so I picked up some PB 245gr, and triple 7 pellets and rem primers.

I know the PB's nor the Trip 7 pellets get alot of praise here but without alot of time I just had to pick up something and go with it for this season.

This summer I can try and work up a load and get a little better scope for it. Pretty cheap extra one on there now, but we will see what I do with it.

a few things I would like to change, may do something different with the stock, and thinking of getting the barrel dipped (just for a little "wow" factor)

Basically bought the smokepole to extend my hunting season by a week......so now what?

download the manual for your rifle from T/C arms. Read the manual for the rifle until you understand the workings of your rifle. Then it is a matter of range work and get to where you have a good accurate load.
