Default Triumph/Bone Collector

Just wondering, does anyone know if they recently changed the stock design on the Triumphs? In the past, when shouldered trying to use open sights I could never get the Triumph sights to line up quite right but the Bone Collector sights lined up fine. I just got back from Scheels and was messing around with a Triumph. The sights lined up fine. Picked up a Bone Collector and it felt the same. Double checked the Triumph to make sure they didn't have it tagged wrong. Nope, it was definately a standard Triumph. Just wondering if anyone else had noticed this or anything similar?

I shouldered a Triumph the other day at a sporting goods store and found no problem getting the sights to fall right into place. But the T/C rifle that "just fits me perfect" is the Impact. Have you shouldered that rifle? Man that thing is sweet. I really like it, but I just can not justify another rifle. I get one more rifle and you'd see me on an episode of "Hoarders."

When Cabelas had the sale on the blue Triumph, i purchased one. I could not get down on the iron sights at all. I knew this, and put a scope on it, and cannot use it during our muzzle loader season. It put one deer on our freezer during the rifle season that just ended. This rifle has a gray receiver.

After the sale, the blue Triumph on display, now has a blue receiver. I have always wondered if there was a difference between the rifles other than color. Perhaps the rifle with the blue receiver has a lower comb. I don't know.

When i shouldered the Bone Collector, i was surprised to find that i can use it with the iron sights. The Bone Collector definitely has a lower comb than my rifle, and it seemed like the butt stock might be shorter too.

Try shouldering the Dream Season Omega.

IMO T/C really has a winner with that one. Slightly shorter barrel with a unique shape and i had no problem with the factory sites.
