Default Has anyone shot a deer at CLOSE RANGE with the Harvester Scorpion 260?

I am wondering if they do not expand well at close range...like 15 yards. I shot a buck at 140 yards last Friday and he covered the forest floor with blood.

Here's why I'm asking: http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/whit...ml#post3724914

I have taken deer with the 300 gr Scorpion but 70 yards is the closest and he dropped in his tracks. I always had great results with the Scorpions but haven't hunted with the 260's only the 300 gr.

Thanks. Like I mentioned, I had awesome results with my 140-yard hit. I (think I) shot a buck yesterday at about 15-20 yards. Left-handed, but the crosshairs were right behind his shoulder when the hammer fell. No blood. No hair. No body. He was still when I took the shot, and spun around and flew the way he came with his flag flying. I am beyond distraught, and I can't convince myself that I missed. I wish I could.
