Default Did I get a W*M deal ?

We had another week of BP season. I just happened to go in the local W*M. They had all the BP stuff marked down already. Triple 7 50cal/50gr pellets 15.00 a 100. One box of Pyrodex pellets was all they had 10.00 a box of 100. I bought about 8 or 10 boxes of the Triple 7 pellets.
The power belt bullets and sabots reg 16.97 I think it was marked down to 5.00. Power points 5.00 a pack. 50 cal Brass brush and swab 50 cents. Extended T/C cleaning jags 75 cents. A fancy T/C nipple pic that retails for 14 something I think was a dollar or two.
Needless to say I cleaned them out. I left two cans of Pyrodex loose powder.

The next night I went to another W*M. They had tons of stuff all at regular price. I'll be making trips on a regular basis until they mark the stuff down.
I looked up the Triple 7 pellets at Natchez. They were 22.00 and something and then you have to figure the Haz Mat fee. W*M had a price of 37.00 regular price. Yeah I done good.

sounds like a good deal. i might swing by my local walmart and check out their hunting section. Think last yr they marked down their pyrodex from $20 to $18... so wasn't any smoking hot deals to be had. They normally dont carry much anyways so I always get my stuff from basspro with my rewards points.

My local Wal Mart stopped carrying black powder supplies. The Sporting Goods manager said there was not enough sales from their stock. Well that kind of made me mad. All they worry about is profit. But I guess I will live without Wal Mart.

Allot of the W*M's didn't have BP stuff this year. We hunt in SC and that W*M we went to didn't have anything in the way of BP stuff. The guy that was working there told me allot of the W*M's that used to sell guns and stopped. He said some of them will be selling guns again soon and some still won't.

Our Wal-Mart does'nt carry any Powder anymore, just Primers and MLer Bullets and the rest of the MLer stuff. They also just sell MLer's, no more Gun's. But yea if your there at the right time you can get some Great Deals!

Those are some great deals. My local WallyWorld does not carry and BP stuff, the town over does have a few items but still too high as the season is still on.
