Default gonna try shockwaves bullets this year

Hey, I am going to try 250 grain TC shockwave in my renegade this year. I put a 50 cal Green Mountain LRH barrel on it with the 1 in 28 twist, I have also been useing triple 7. 3F powder . I know I will have to work up a new load for this barrel, but what would you guys say I should start with for powder loads useing the triple 7 ? Also do any of you have any favorite loads you use in this particular barrel ? And what is the maximum load I dare use ?

100 grains would be a good starting place. I have that same barrel and it shoots 100 grains of Pyrodex RS and a 250 grain XTP in a black crushed rib harvester sabot real well.

Steve, I use the Shock Wave quite a bit and I have gone to shooting the yellow tip for practice and the blue tip for hunting [bonded].
In my experience the loads that group the best in my TC guns are 110,115 or 120 depending on which gun. I use the Short Black Harvester sabot for that bullet in my TC guns and the MML 12 in the Knight.
