just ordered some. the green hornady sabots have great accuracy when using 80 grains of black mag3 and dont wanna mess with things too much. the omega always gave me a hard time loading but i put up with it because it groups so well.thanks for the thumbs up!

I use the green CR Sabots and Speer GDHP/Deep Curls in 240gr/.44 cal. in my Omega. They load and shoot well.

That's what I used last year in by blackdiamond. Outstanding groups. Loading wasn't too bad.
This year I moved to the black sabots and the .452 and don't quite have as good of groups...but still decent.

I shoot a .452" bullet in my Omega with an MMP HPH-24 sabot. For a follow up reload in the woods, I switch to an MMP 3 petal EZ.No swab necessary for one time only.

well the crushed ribs didnt load any easier. seems like things load nice only after running a seasoned bore butter patch down the barrel. i know you shouldnt lube a plastic sabot but i didnt notice any accuracy issue when i sent a lubed patch down the bore.does the bore butter affect the plastic after time or something? sure does load nice with just a little in the bore.
