Default XTP 240 gr ?

I see they come with a black sabot and a green sabot whats the difference. I picked up a pack with the green sabot to try. Is one better than the other?

XTP with the black sabot is a 45 cal pistol bullet placed in a 50 cal sabot.

XTP with a green sabot is a 44 cal pistol bullet placed in a 50 cal sabot.

The 44 will have alittle higher BC but I have always felt the 45 has shot more cinsistenly accurate from a ML - but that is just me..

I have used the greens for about four seasons now and this is my last. I have killed several deer with these rounds from my Encore shooting 100 grains (pellets) however I don't get a blood trail at all. Luckily the deer I have killed with this bullet didn't go far but yesterday I lost a doe and I am now switching bullets.
