using your descriptions - both of those prices are excellent.
The stainless 45 with fluted barrel will probably be a MHC barrel (Master Hunter Cryogenic) They were assembled near the end of the Knight rifle run and sold to places like Fin-Fur-Feather at liquidation prices.
The MK is an older plunger gun but an excellent model of Knight.

I would buy that 45 MHS in a blink of an eye for $200. They can be real tack drivers but a few 50s did need a little work on the crown. No biggie though considering the total price for a awesome rifle.
The MH series also usually came with 2 stocks. One synth and one in wood.

I think most of the 45's were fluted not just the mhc barrels. On some of the mhc 50's the crown was kind of off center, you could see it by looking at them. Some owners did a little hand honing to make them concentric.

I am thinking that the earlier Knight DISC Original 45's and some of the early DISC Extremes 45's were fluted, but the majority of the 45 in the DISC series were contour barrels until the MHC showed up.
But i am a long way from positive....
