Does anyone have any preference or opinion in regards to the power stem breech plug.Or do you prefer a standard breechplug? I realize the Lehigh plug is a better option, but between factory breechplugs does anyone like or use the powerstem?
Is the power stem the one for pellets? I personally have never shot one. Interesting question though.

I have a Knight KRB7 and sent a e-mail to Lehigh for a modifies breech plug,but it's not avealable for the KRB7.
I never had a powerstem in my Elite or Disc Extreme.

The powerstem breechplug has a long stem and ignites the powder from the front . my .52 has a powerstem, just trying to decide whether to change it or not. I guess i will try it and decide.

I cut two of them off and put Lehigh Vent liners in them. I really do not like the Power stem because I can wipe the entire bore and I do not totally clean my guns during hunting season so they really do not work for me.
The theory of them is sound... starting the powder in the middle of the column is more efficient and will give you a boost in FPS.
