Default bullet drop

If i switch from powerbelt 245 grain pushed by 150 grains pyro pellets .. to 250 grain shockwave pushed by 100 grains ... it shouldnt be to far off if i had it dead on at 100 to start with should it?

I would say your gonna lose some Trajectory, but your gonna Gain some Accuracy! I switched from 150gr's a couple of years ago and it was the Best move I made. I also switched from Pellets to Lose Powder and that was even better.
I dont remember how much I lost going from 150gr's of Pyro Pellets to 110gr's of Pyro RS Powder but it probably was around 3" and that was most noticeable around 175yds and beyond.
With My 240gr XTP and 110grs of Pyro sighted in at 2 1/4" high at 50yds Im almost Dead on at 150 and only about 3" low at 180yds. It's Perfect for me as I usually wont shoot past 200.

ok i thought id drop about 3 inches at 100 yardsso i think what ill do is raise my scope 3inches and then load it with 100 grians of powder with a 250 grain shockwave, but i like to shoot at 25 yards then 100 yards so if i do that ... if i start shooting at 25 yards will it be shooting really high bec its so close.. if its dead on then will it be still dead on at 100yards

Why not just shoot it first and see the point of impact at a few distances?

You are talking about switching from a full bore 245gr to a 45cal 250gr which will have a far better sectional density and will fly flatter if traveling the same fps.

Most full bores are slower at the muzzle than the same weight bullet in a sabot with the same powder charge also. The point of impact may not be as low as you think out to 100 yards.

Due to several factors you will be surprised. the PB's don't hold compression so the powder does not burn as well with 150 gr there is some going out the end of the barrel. 110 to 120 gr will probably give a least an equal trajectory but the POI will be different since the recoil will be different expect to sight in.

No your not gonna drop 3" at 100......Just do what most do, sight in 2" high at 50yds and with 100grs and a 240-250 gr Bullet. Then you should be good anywhere from 50-150yds if you hold center lungs on a Deer. On Close Shots 0-50yds Aim for the Heart Area, this should give you a top of the Heart-Lung Shot.
Get out and Practice though, these are Close Estimates but you should always know exactly where YOUR ML is shooting.
