Default Knight 52 barrel needs cut.

My Knight 52 has a 27" barrel. I think it's to long and not needed. I'm just not sure what length to cut it to. I'm really thinking 24" might be the best all around length.

What length barrel do you guys like or would want?

I like a 28 inch barrel for my inlines and a 32 for my percussion. , so you need to add an inch to it not cut it

I personally would not alter the barrel but my original Knight Disc has a 24 inch barrel and it seems to be a nice size.

It can be like the powder load, some barrels just prefer a certain length, to even out the whip, if it were me I would take off 1 inch at a time until it shot the best.

One that keeps sub 2" MOA at 150 yards.

On a carbine i like 20-22" and on a rifle i prefer 24-26" depending on the overall length. If its a range queen maybe an inch or two longer.

Mine is sitting at UPS right now and after i get it i might cut down my Extreme 50 barrel.

Cutting the LRH barrel would be sacrilege!!!!!

You might want to check with MD about the SAFTEY factor before you do it.

What safety factor? Barrels are cut and crown everyday with guns that generator over 60K PSI.

I think you better check with the "weasel" not the "devil"

grouse, I've got a ML 700 youth model (I put it in a boyds full length stock) it's got a 21.5" barrel and is the best handling ML that I've ever take to the woods. If I wanted to cut it I would go with 22 or 22.5
