Default success with pellets

Thought I'd give the 230gr XTP's a go with T7 pellets that I left over from last year. So, same yellow super glide sabots @ 50 yards.

shots 1-3 with 1-30gr and 1-50gr pellet

shots 4-6 with 3 - 30gr pellets

second target shots 1-4 with 2 - 50gr pellets. ? on shot #3. Didn't sound like a good ignition. One of the inconstancies of pellets!

Go figure!

Well that is still some good shooting. Pellets can be strange. But so can loose powder. I was shooting some APP one afternoon and got two POOFS! when I was shooting.

anyone use the 230's on deer? the 3 x 30gr pellets really isn't much for recoil. I just thinking my 15 year old daughter could handle these. She shots a .243 quite well.
