Just wondering if anyone has ever used the TC Contender G2 with a muzzleloader barrel? I found one kind of cheap locally and was considering it. It looks nice and would satisfy my want for an interchangeable barrel rifle. I've also never heard much about the G2 used this way. It would be a great handgun for deer season, I'm just not sure. Anyone have any thoughts?
Yes. I had Bull Berry make me a custom 45 caliber MZ barrel about 15 years ago. It is a real dandy. Very lightweight MZ. And being a Bull Berry you know how it shoots. Tom.

Thanks for the response. I called the guy back and he said it was gone. Oh well. But it did get me to thinking and looking around. The shorter barrel and lighter weight might be good for a stand/woods gun. Kind of like an X7 only different.
I've got a G2 in 209x45. Great little rifle but will kick the crap out of you if you try any heavy loads. 200 grain 10mm XTPs are a nice choice... and don't get crazy with the powders.
