Take the trigger off if possible. If not remove the barrel from the stock at least. Take the trigger assembly outside and spray the insides of it with brake or carburetor cleaner. Then shake out the spray as best as you can. After that oil the assembly. My Knights do that from time to time. Its a simple fix with them, and maybe it will work with your Optima.
