Default Muzzleloader spot update

Well when i was taking pictures of my Optima i got my area in full fall colors. Nothing to offer to the deer yet. I sprayed the trail back in august with some killer and it took care of the young oak brush that was popping up like crazy again. I'll know what to do this spring! That stuff worked awesome on the brush and its nice and clear. Funny as hell though because the rain i guess washed some corn down into the sandy area towards the bottom and corn stalks are popping up LOL. I guess i now know what i can plant next year!

Another area we cleared out a bit while cutting firewood. The slash piles will be pushed with the ATV plow into a deep ditch to help build up the land in that area.

Once the weather turned colder and the leaves started to change, the deer started moving through this area a lot. A buck has already been working scrapes along the west side fence line, something we've never had on the property before. I guess thats a good sign.

I say in another 2-3 days i'll have this area where i want it, with a good food plot put in for the deer and elk.

And them come Muzzle Loader season !!

Looks pretty nice...

The brush piles I have now will be gone the first big wet heavy snow fall. We burn them. Then next year that area is full of wild raspberries.
