Default A Down & Dirty Photobucket Tutorial

I know this is "old hat" for most of you guys, but it may be helpful for some.

There are probably several ways to add pictures to your post. I use Photobucket and here's how I do it.

FIRST A WORD ABOUT PICTURE SIZE:

I've found that when you transfer pictures from your computer to Photobucket it's best to resize them for 15" screens. That seems to be the most friendly size for most users.

To set the picture size, click on "More Options" under to Upload Images and Videos banner in your Photobucket album.

That will bring up a screen that allows you to set picture size. Be sure to save the selection.

Then load the pictures from your computer to your Photobucket album.

Now, to put pictures in your post, open two tabs - one for the forum and one for your Photobucket album.

Then begin typing your post. When you want to insert a picture, click on the Photobucket tab and right click your mouse on the IMG Code under the picture you want. Then "copy" the code.

Then return to the forum tab and right click your mouse to "paste" the IMG Code into your post.

It will look like this.

Anyway, that's how I do it. It works on almost every forum.

Here's a hint for anyone that wants to post a bunch of pictures on more than one forum. Copy & paste the IMG Codes of all of the pictures you want to use into a Document File like MS Word, and save them. Then you can copy & paste the entire list of IMG Codes from the document file into a post and all images will appear.

(2) If you love animals as I do, then you're not a vegetarian.
(3) There's no need to act stupid, even if you're very good at it.
(4) If you eat right and exercise, don't smoke or drink, you're going to die anyway.

I was wondering how that was done, and now I know. THanks for the information, hopefully I`ll be able to share some of my photos from the shooting range with you.
