pulled my knight usak, external rust grrrr
I pulled out my knight usak 50cal last night. wanted to take an look and see if the bore was ok. as soon as picked it up, I saw rust on the out side. I was upset with my self. did not want to see bore. so I start cleaning the out side. using 91% alcohol and 0000 steel wool (lightly rubbing).
moment of truth, the bore. I run an dry patch down the bore first.. then an alcohol patch both sides. all DUST. just an gray look. run 2 more alcohol patches down. and oiled the whole thing with rusty duck lube.
