Default 1st Antelope and 1st Kill with Muzzy

Well I finally pulled it off early this morning. Was able to take a antelope buck with a muzzleloader. Roughly around 100 yards and just barely shooting light. Below are the pics of the entrance wound and exit wound. Right when I pulled the trigger he started to turn so it was a front shoulder shot. He ran about 10 yards and then fell. I wish the shot placement was better, but I had no control on that. Lost alot of meat off the shoulders. Thats the way it is sometimes. Pretty happy with the 300 grain xtp mag. though. The load acts alot like my .450 Marlin. I will have pics of the actual buck later tonight or tommorow.

Here are the antelope pics. Its a bummer that the picture is blurry with me. My dad doesn't take very good pics and it was with my blackberry. Kinda of a small buck but a first on many levels. So I deceided to get a euro mount. I should be done in three weeks so I will post pics of that too.

That's great 50Cal. Good report too. It doesn't look like you lost all that much meat.

Congratulations on the antelope. I know all about Dad's taking pictures. You might as well forget it then hand a camera to my Dad..

That did some excellent damage. It looks like it is not only accurate but has a heck of a knock down ability.
