Default Bushnell Trophy XLT has it backwards

Started sighting in my Accura with the DOA 250, after bore-sighting, at 25 yards. To make a long story short and after lots of frustration, it is sighted in at 100.

The L/R knob indicates Left is counter-clockwise, so that is what I did. Bullet moved more to the right with left adjustments. After 5 shots it was determined that a left adjustment actually moves poi to the right. When I got home I saw that every scope I own, shows a right adj is counter-clockwise. This one is marked incorrectly.

Has anyone had this problem?

No, but I did have a Bushnell that did not work at all. No matter how much I twisted the adjustment knob, the POI never moved. I sent the scope back and got a different one.

i have a simmons pro sport 3-9x40 on my 308, when i mounted it and started to sight it in i noticed that on the right my adjustments said L-R, ok thats good then i removed my top caps they said L-R. i called simmons and they told me that the wrong adjustment nob was put in but that it would still work as long as i figured which was up and down. L was up R was down and i got it set in just a few shots, its been good now for 2 yrs so i guess it don't matter. i do have red dot scope on my crossbow that moving the click toward r will move impact left, i called horton they said that those scopes are made so that you move in the direction of your hit to change it. if you hit left move toward L then it will bring it to the right.

Talked to Busnell C/S today. Appears that they goofed on some of the turrets on the XLT. Correct ones on the way. Thanks for the responses.

You've gotten 'er done.....my weird way of remembering is imagining the 'turrets' as screws and whichever way i move them will 'push' or 'pull' the bullet that direction.

I sighted in my father-in-law's crossbow for him the other evening and had that same problem. It didn't take long to figure it out, but it made me scratch my head for a second.

Hunt12guage, call Bushnell, they will send you a replacement turret that is correctly marked.
